The Roland R806-6 (5+V) is a high-performance sheet-fed offset printing press designed for commercial printing applications. The machine has approximately 148 million impressions and features a 5-color plus varnish configuration. Equipped with chromed impression cylinders and a perfector unit for 5/0 - 2/3 perfecting capability.
Paper Handling : Features a stream feeder system with double sheet and side lay detectors for precise paper alignment. Includes high pile delivery for efficient output handling. The press handles a wide range of paper weights and sizes with automatic sheet detection and alignment systems.
Printing Unit : Five printing units plus varnish unit with RCI console for centralized control. Includes Graphometronic densitometer for color measurement, CPL (semi-automatic plate change), and automatic washers for impressions, blanket cylinders, and inking rollers. Features Rolandmatic dampening system and Technotrans Alpha d refrigeration system for temperature control.
Ink System : Advanced inking system with automatic washers for inking rollers. Includes IR dryer Schneider for rapid ink drying and Grafix Hitronic-S powder sprays for sheet separation. The system is pre-connected to CIP3 for digital prepress integration.
Plate Cylinder : Semi-automatic plate change system (CPL) for efficient plate mounting. Includes plate punch and all necessary tools for plate handling. The system supports quick job changes and precise plate registration.
