The COMCO Cadet is a high-performance, narrow-web flexographic printing press designed for label and packaging converters. This machine is ideal for short to medium-run production of self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves, and flexible packaging materials. Paper Handling : The COMCO Cadet features a 19.69 in (500 mm) diameter unwind unit with a maximum roll weight of 1,323 lbs (600 kg). The machine is equipped with a 15.75 in (400 mm) diameter rewind unit and has a maximum rewind diameter of 24.8 in (630 mm). The paper handling system includes a web guide system and a tension control system to ensure precise web tension and registration.

Printing Unit : The COMCO Cadet is equipped with up to 8 printing units, each with a maximum print width of 13.78 in (350 mm). The machine features a print speed of up to 492 ft/min (150 m/min) and a maximum resolution of 1,200 dpi. The printing unit uses a flexographic printing technology with ceramic anilox rolls and doctor blades.

Ink System : The COMCO Cadet uses a water-based ink system with a maximum ink capacity of 2.64 gal (10 L) per color. The machine features a closed-loop ink circulation system with a temperature control system to ensure consistent ink viscosity and optimal print quality.

Plate Cylinder : The COMCO Cadet features a 10.24 in (260 mm) diameter plate cylinder with a maximum plate repeat of 24.8 in (630 mm). The plate cylinder is designed for easy plate mounting and demounting, and features a pneumatic clamping system to ensure precise plate registration.
