About Duplo - 5000
The Duplo 5000 is a high-performance, fully automatic saddle-stitching machine designed for high-volume printing and finishing applications. This machine is ideal for commercial printers, in-plant printers, and binderies that require efficient and precise booklet production. Dimensions and Specifications : The Duplo 5000 measures 144 inches (3658 mm) in length, 48 inches (1219 mm) in width, and 60 inches (1524 mm) in height, with a weight of approximately 3,500 pounds (1588 kg). The machine has a maximum booklet size capacity of 12.5 inches (318 mm) x 18 inches (457 mm) and a minimum booklet size capacity of 4 inches (102 mm) x 6 inches (152 mm).
Paper Handling : The Duplo 5000 features a 36-station collating tower with a maximum sheet capacity of 10,000 sheets. The machine is equipped with two feeders, each with a capacity of 2,000 sheets, and a cover feeder with a capacity of 1,000 sheets. The Duplo 5000 also features an automatic sheet detection system and a precision sheet alignment system.
Stitching Unit : The Duplo 5000 has a high-speed stitching unit that can produce up to 9,000 booklets per hour. The machine features a patented wire clinching system that ensures precise and consistent stitching. The stitching unit is also equipped with an automatic wire feed system and a wire saving device.
